Traverse Town DS launcher - Windows x64

1. Extract this helper ZIP and double-click TraverseTownDSLauncher.exe.
2. Click Set up Melon Mix. Review the official v0.9.3 download, checksum and
app-local destination, then confirm. The helper verifies and extracts it and
automatically selects MelonMix.exe. Cancel setup remains available.
3. Choose your own uncompressed Days or Re:coded .nds file.
4. Click Play in Melon Mix. Configure controller/keyboard and graphics there.

Already installed? Choose existing MelonMix.exe instead. Manual official download:

The helper uses the Windows .NET Framework and does not require an administrator,
an account, a terminal or a script-policy change. It is unsigned. Its source and
Build.ps1 are included for review/rebuilding.

This download contains only the helper, its source and these instructions. It does not contain
an emulator, game, BIOS, firmware, patch, HD assets, or artwork.

Optional setup downloads only after review and never starts the emulator. Pinned

It is installed into %LOCALAPPDATA%\TraverseTown\runtime\MelonMix\
v0.9.3-9e9b8c6978db. Temporary download/extraction is contained in the runtime
directory and discarded on failure/cancellation. Existing verified runtime is
reused. Changed/incomplete runtime directories are retained for review rather
than silently overwritten. No automatic update checks are performed. Future
versions use separate folders; saves/settings profiles are not replaced.

Local saves/settings:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\TraverseTown\DS\<SHA-256 of your game file>\
game.sav is the raw cartridge save. melonDS.toml holds this profile's settings.
Each launch copies an existing game.sav to a timestamped backup first. No existing
adjacent ROM save is imported automatically. To migrate, close Melon Mix, choose
the matching game in the helper, click Import .sav and review the replacement.
Any previous profile save is backed up before replacement. Use Export .sav for a
backup to another folder. Open save folder shows settings and timestamped backups.
Save states are emulator-specific and are not interchangeable with game.sav.

The helper reads the selected game to calculate its identity; it never uploads it.
It recognizes the US, European and Japanese cartridge codes listed by Melon Mix
v0.9.3's Days and Re:coded plugins and rejects incomplete ARM header ranges.
Header checks cannot prove that a modified game will run correctly.
It leaves the emulator working directory in its own folder. ROM filenames do not
need to be changed. Modified game files get a different profile; migrate saves
manually only after checking compatibility. Copy the whole profile for backup.

Melon Mix and the environment-variable launch options were reviewed from its
upstream documentation/source. The helper compiled and passed synthetic-file and
mock launch-plan checks. No new emulator process or game was run during testing.
Actual game compatibility, saves, graphics and controller behavior remain untested.
