Cross Road is an iPhone/Safari/PWA preservation build of the final offline KHUX + Dark Road experience. This adaptation builds on the original Cross Road runtime by Arena7664 and its contributors.

Installation guidance

Read the upstream Quick Start and legal notes before using the web build. The repository documents Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen, followed by opening the Home Screen app and choosing Launch game if shown.

The repository uses remotely hosted content with on-demand caching. This hub does not mirror game files or provide a download package. An internet connection is needed for content not already cached.

Protect your saves

Progress is local to the device/browser. The README documents Stop game → Back Up / Restore Save → Back Up / Export Save. Importing replaces current local progress. Clearing Safari data can delete saves; moving devices or browsers does not transfer them automatically.

Known issues

  • Earlier KHUX popup tap-through, stuck Close/Back, and dimming reports have not been separately confirmed resolved for this beta.
  • A normal tap may be needed to resume audio after returning from another app.
  • A fully cached offline library and compatibility with every iOS/WebKit device are not promised.

What happened to Cross Road Android?

The old cross-road-android repository now redirects to Re:Awaken Android. Its native Beta 2 installer is separate from the historical Kotlin/WebView/WASM shell. Use the Re:Awaken guide for current Android setup.

The published beta notes describe mobile controls, diagnostics, local save tools, and earlier audio recovery work. Read the complete changelog for the runtime baseline and unresolved issues.

For reports include your device, OS version, Safari tab or Home Screen mode, steps to reproduce, and reviewed diagnostics. Remove personal information before posting.
